The first reason is that it is far simpler for me to rank locally rather than at a national scale. The search query “SEO Consultant Monaco” is much less competitive than “SEO Consultant,” which allows me to be far more visible on the web.
The second reason is that the majority of entrepreneurs seek a provider they perceive as geographically close. This inspires trust and reassures them. If, on top of that, a physical meeting is possible, it’s even better.
That said, I collaborate with French-speaking clients in the United States, Ireland, Belgium, and even New Caledonia. My local search positioning does not in any way limit my international reach.

This is an example of SEO-optimized text that allows me to position myself on the first page of Google search results for the query “SEO Consultant Monaco.” My objective is to rank locally, first because it is more accessible (less competition) and secondly because I am based in Monaco. To rank a web page effectively on the first page of Google results, one must take into account hundreds of criteria.
Among them, the first criterion is the keyword. Google uses keywords that users enter into its search engine. It is therefore essential to choose the right keywords. Ideally, a good keyword is highly searched but remains low in competition. In my case, the keyword “SEO Consultant Monaco” is searched more than 120 times per month. In the past, it was enough to frequently repeat a keyword to reach the first page.
That time is over! SEO is now much more complex. After defining a main keyword (which can be a phrase and not a simple word), it is crucial to select secondary keywords to strengthen the first one; this is what’s called the semantic field. But links are not exclusively internal. I can also insert external links, for instance to my TrustPilot reviews for example. Externally, backlinks (return links) remain one of the key elements of organic referencing. Once this text is finished, I can promote it to obtain links from other sites, a form of recommendation in a sense. There too, I would optimize my anchors with the main keyword “SEO Consultant Monaco.”
All of this remains ineffective without considering user experience. My content is intended primarily for you, not for Google’s robots; this is the most important part, because Google penalizes pages that offer a poor user experience.
