What is the difference between classic SEO and GEO (AI Optimization)?

Classic SEO aims to place your site in 1st position in a list of results. GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) aims to make your content the sole source used by AI to generate its response. In SEO, we optimize for keywords; in GEO, we optimize to be “cited” as the reference by AIs.

The two are closely linked. In my view, one does not exist without the other.

Does this service replace my current SEO?

No, it secures it. Optimization for AI is an additional layer that strengthens your existing SEO.

The technical (such as structured data) and semantic (expert content) actions I implement benefit both: you remain visible on today’s Google while gaining your place in tomorrow’s tools. It’s a “double impact” strategy.

AI/GEO Optimization: how much does it cost?

If AI gives the answer directly without a click, what's in it for me?

This is the great fear of “Zero-Click.” But the stake lies elsewhere: reputation and trust.
